From the initial introductory site visit we help you finalise the Design Brief and discuss any alternatives. When appointed we would develop schematic alternatives with 3D views for easy visualisation of the project.

Once a final design has been signed off by the client, a Planning Application would be submitted to the relevant Local Authority. We have extensive experience liaising with OCC, VoWHDC, SODC, WODC,CHDC, BucksDC and WycombeDC.

Following granting of planning consent at stage 2, a fully compliant set of detailed plans will be drawn up to seek Building Regulations approval from the local authority Building Control office or via an Approved Inspector. Additional details and documents could be prepared if a Tender process is required to seek a suitable contractor.

At this stage we will help appointing a suitable contractor and we will help during the construction stage with Contract Management services and general day to day tasks to ensure the design is completed according to plans, in time and within budget.

The Principal Designer role came into effect under the updated Construction Design and Management regulations CDM 2015. We now offer the role as integral part of our services for all projects with more than one contractor on site. Either commercial or domestic projects…Safety first!
